How do I know that my loss is significant?
If you feel you need to talk to someone about a loss or painful experience and these negative memories have an impact on your daily life. Or perhaps you are struggling to cope with the associated emotions of a loss and feel more pain and negativity than positive emotions, then you may need help to come to terms with the unresolved loss.
What type of losses does this method work for?
Simply put, any loss that creates an emotional blockage. There are many losses that we 'grieve', with the most obvious being the death of someone important in our life, but others include the less obvious: the end of a relationship, a divorce, a loss of our health, a family estrangement, our job, our independence. There are in fact a staggering 40 plus significant life events which cause us confusion or pain which holds us back.
Do I have to do all the sessions?
Yes, for the method to work for you. The programme is written in stages with one naturally following the other.
What happens if I change my mind once I’ve started?
If you are unsure whether the the programme I deliver is right for you, simply book and only pay for the first session.
In the first session, I outline in brief the content of the sessions and try and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
This programme will take you back to the past, where losses or painful experiences may have occurred. Please be aware of this and it is important that there is emotional support around you. It requires 100% commitment.
If you would like to go ahead and complete the remainder of the programme we can then take steps to complete payment or agree on a pay as you go plan.
The payments you have made are not refundable. If you need to postpone the completion of the course due to a change in circumstances I will issue a credit note for the number of remaining sessions.
What happens during the sessions?
I guide & support you through the sessions and with the reflective work that is entailed in the Grief Recovery Method. This gives you the chance to talk openly about your significant emotional loss and to move beyond your current emotional state. Sessions take place in The Garden Room.
